There’s something magical about summer evenings in Southlake, TX, especially when love is in the air. This recent engagement session in Southlake was full of sunshine, laughter, and genuine moments that perfectly captured the couple’s love story. As a DFW engagement photographer, I always enjoy photographing couples in this vibrant and picturesque part of the Dallas Fort Worth Metroplex.

Located just a short drive from both Dallas and Fort Worth, Southlake offers a blend of upscale charm and natural beauty that makes it an ideal setting for a romantic engagement session. For this session, we explored one of the area's local parks right before golden hour, when the Texas summer light is warm and dreamy—perfect for capturing intimate, sun-kissed moments.

Summer in Texas can be hot, but with a bit of planning, it’s also one of the most photogenic seasons.
